The Libra Association, the group behind Facebook's digital asset, revealed an update to its brass. The group announced that Sterling Daines (the chief compliance officer of the outfit) will leave his position at Credit Suisse in 2020 to assume his role at the Libra Association.
Daines goes along with Libra to make sure safety
"I am pleased to join the Libra Association as it works to transform the digital payment space to empower billions of people," Daines said in the latest statement.
He also added that:
"A critical element of achieving this mission is to ensure we are building a safe, compliant, and reliable platform for all users, which I look forward to significantly contributing to."
The Libra Association has concentrated on safety with recently hired staff
Daines has huge experiences in Anti-Money Laundering practices as well as preventing fraud and other nefarious actions. Daines holds previous expertise in working for financial services group Credit Suisse as the firm's global head of financial crime compliance, as well as its Manager.
